2011-2014
Agast Atera En was my diploma project at the Faculty of Arts in Košice, Slovakia. The project delved
into a dreamy, surreal state, intertwining elements of local folklore and mythological narratives. A key aspect
of the work was my use of self-portraits, which allowed me to become both the subject and the storyteller,
embodying the ethereal and symbolic figures inspired by the cultural and historical heritage of the region.
Through carefully composed imagery, the project captured fleeting moments of mystery and enchantment,
inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a world where reality and dreams blur. By using self-portraits, I
explored themes of identity, transformation, and the deep, personal connection to the myths and landscapes
that shaped the narrative. This work reflected my ongoing interest in the intangible connections between
place, memory, and storytelling, which remain central to my artistic practice.
